Mr. Tweedy’s work focuses on advising and defending his clients involved in various claims and disputes arising under federal law and the laws of Louisiana. Mr. Tweedy specializes in not only handling litigation for his clients, but also advising them on the best practices to manage risk and address various legal issues that occur in normal business practice. Mr. Tweedy also assists in helping his clients assess the ever-changing legal landscape and the effect such change has on them.


Mr. Tweedy served a two-year federal clerkship with the United States Department of Labor, Office of Administrative Law Judges. Mr. Tweedy received a Bachelor of Science in 2004 from Louisiana State University. He received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2008 and received a Master of Business Administration from Loyola University New Orleans College of Business in 2008.

Mr. Tweedy was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar in October 2008. He is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts of Louisiana, the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Since 2012, Mr. Tweedy has been recognized as a Rising Star of Louisiana by Super Lawyers. Mr. Tweedy has also been rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Tweedy has presented at various conferences and has published several articles focusing on his practice areas.
