Samantha is an Associate attorney in the Chicago office, concentrating in Federal and Illinois state workers’ compensation and general liability defense. Her practice includes representation of employers and insurance carriers in Federal claims arising under the Longshore and Harbor Worker’s Compensation Act (LHWCA) and Defense Base Act (DBA) as well as Illinois state claims arising under the Illinois Workers' Compensation Act. Samantha is experienced in a wide variety of civil litigation matters ranging from defending corporations from discrimination claims in administrative, state, and federal forums, as well as defending not-for-profits from claims involving injury, sexual abuse and wrongful death. 


Samantha graduated Magna Cum Laude from Illinois Wesleyan University, and secured her Juris Doctorate in 2016 from The John Marshall Law School. Samantha is licensed in the Illinois State Courts and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois. During law school, Samantha served as an extern to Judge Michael R. Panter (Ret.) in the Circuit Court of Cook County, acted as a court-appointed Guardian Ad Litem for minors in guardianship disputes, and was a law clerk at a civil litigation law firm for three years.
