Sarah Maddox is an Associate Attorney in the firm’s downtown Houston office, focusing her practice on matters involving Admiralty and Maritime Law including claims under the Longshore and Harbor Worker’s Compensation Act, the Jones Act, and the Defense Base Act.


Sarah Maddox graduated from the University of Houston School of Law where she served as Senior Editor of the Journal of Consumer Law. While completing her Doctor of Jurisprudence, Ms. Maddox worked with Morgan Stanley International Limited’s in-house counsel in London and completed two clerkships with litigation firms in Houston, Texas. Ms. Maddox also graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with minors in French and Business from Texas A&M University. During her time at Texas A&M, she studied abroad in Aix-en-Provence and completed a litigation internship in Bryan, Texas.


Ms. Maddox was admitted to the Texas Bar in November 2017. She is currently a member of the Texas Bar Association, Houston Young Lawyers Associations, Houston Mariner’s Club, and WISTA. Ms. Maddox is licensed to practice law in Texas and is admitted into the U.S. District for the Southern District of Texas.

In her spare time, Ms. Maddox enjoys the outdoors, traveling, attending Astros and Rockets games and yoga.
